CRUZ DEL SUR UFO PROJECT: INAUGURATION OF THE FIRST FIXED STATION FROM RANCUL (La Pampa – Argentina)

By Carlos Ferguson

With great enthusiasm and within the framework of the Cruz del Sur Binational UFO Project, the launch of one of the key areas of the same was made possible: the establishment of the first fixed station from Rancul (La Pampa – Argentina).

This took place on Saturday, November 30th in the hall of the “Jorge Newbery” Club of that city, at 7:00 p.m.

In a framework of 40 attendees, and also press, the event was attended by Mr. Manuel Vetrone (who is in charge of the fixed post in a field of his property).

Also present was Colonel Ariel Sánchez Ríos (Uruguayan Air Force), and author of this note, to make the presentation through a projection of almost an hour in length (which all readers can see by entering the link found below in this same note).

This is part of one of the aspects of the project. To this we must add several theoretical works that are being worked on. The possibility of capturing it is fortuitous and remote, but the conditions are given since there is little or no light pollution, flat terrain with a large number of cameras covering the ground, and other important elements that will be added.

Below are some of the images of the event, and at the end of the note the link to enter the conference given in Rancul.

At the top of the tower, part of the detection site. Behind it, an Australian well and the view of the field.

The presentation was given to about 40 people who came to the room. Several questions from the audience were answered. In the photo, Manuel Vetrone, Carlos Ferguson and Colonel Ariel Sánchez Ríos recounting the experiences of the most important Unidentified cases in Uruguay.

We must highlight that the Project is already working on several practical and theoretical aspects, in addition to the first permanent position for possible recruitment.

In this regard, we must highlight the special temporary studies in the Argentine casuistry, the binational ones of the best Non-Conventional cases of both countries, the study on landing witnesses, the physiological effects, the electromagnetic ones, the most complete study on colors detected in landing cases, UFO sound and non-sound effects in relation to distance, etc.

Some historical aspects of the phenomenon were briefly presented, such as:

Regarding the cases of electromagnetic effects in vehicles in Argentina in relation to distance, work that I was able to do a few months ago, already in line with the Cruz del Sur UFO Project, I have had the great flattery of receiving a communication from the great scientist Mark Rodeghier ( Center For Ufo Studies), who points out:

Dr.Marck Rodeghier: has been president and scientific director of the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies since 1986. He earned a bachelor’s degree in astrophysics at Indiana University in 1975 and then completed a master’s degree and doctorate in sociology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. His thesis, Factors Influencing Attitudes Toward Controversial Research: Quantitatively Disentangling the Social from the Scientific, explores attitudes toward the study of extraterrestrial intelligence by the scientific community. He works professionally as a consultant in statistical analysis and data analysis.  (Photo: Cufos)

This is a source of pride, not only personally, but also for all of us who have this approach and aim for a consistent line of work in the Cruz del Sur UFO Project.

The author Carlos Ferguson works in the Educational area in the Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina). He is also a professor of artistic drawing and has been dedicated to researching the UFO topic for 48 years, when being a disbeliever, he had a close encounter no more than 35 meters away with a disc-shaped UFO. He was the first civilian advisor in Ufology for the Argentine Air Force (2011 to 2017). He has courses in Satellite Technology, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. Author of 7 books and the largest collection of landing cases in Argentina, with classified events. He has also conducted studies on cases of pilots and UFOs in Argentina, as well as underwater objects and, more recently, on the physiological and electromagnetic effects on witnesses. Hundreds of talks and notes over almost 5 decades show him with a line of work adjusted to the parameters of statistics. He is dedicated to daily statistical work, but totally outside the environment of ufological participants, maintaining some selective contacts.
